The production of pharmaceuticals using continuous production methods is economical, space-saving and energy-efficient. However, it must be ensured that all requirements with regard to reproducibility and validation are met, particularly with regard to consistently high product quality.
Reproducible product quality
Moistened powder active ingredient is pressed through radial holes in the die by a press roller. Product strands are thus formed on the outer circumference of the die, which either break by centrifugal force or are cut to a defined length.
