Our pelleting lines ensure the production of geometrically homogeneous pellets that exhibit consistent product quality.
Pelletising with slide grinding
The extrudates coming from a Schlüter ring die extruder are rounded out in the Schlüter Spheronizer and formed into pellets.
This is done by a sliding grinding and deformation in the rounding cylinder due to the friction of the product with itself and on the surface of the cylinder and the rotating rounding disc.
With numerous options, your manufacturing process can be optimized:
- Coating your product with powders or liquids
- Avoidance of product adhesion through heatability or anti-adhesion solutions
- Different fluted disc profiles for optimal peeling
- As a result, shortened rounding time depending on wheel design, speed and filling quantity
